Did about a 6km hike here yesterday and had a picnic lunch @ the ruins. It was pretty nice. We went the long way -- down the spiral staircase, down the steep stairs to the beach, then past the Wiarton marina and then looped back...More

This trail is typical of most trails up the Bruce - rugged. If you have never hiked up here this is not a good place to start. Having a Bruce Trail map (can be purchased on line) is extremely useful.
