The temple was very crowded. This temple houses the Aatmalinga of Lord Shiva which was cleverly acquired by Lord Ganesh from Ravana and installed in Gokarna. Temple maintenance has lot of scope for improvement.

This temple is one of the ancient Shiva temple, Where we can do abhishekams on Atmalingam ourselves. The temple is maintained well and the place is neat and clean,We had good darshan, Atmosphere in the temple is peaceful and energetic
