We walked to Port de St. Goustan from the Auray train station. It was a pleasant walk, but the highlight was definitely when we reached the plaza at quai Franklin. Lots of tourists, cafes, kayakers, historic buildings, cobblestone paths, and views to photograph.

Lovely port, plenty to see and a great choice of eateries. Also a lovely walk along the promenade to admire the variety of boats. Gets really busy in the evenings.

A walk of 15 minutes from my hotel took me to this quiet but lively area where people stroll, eat at outdoor places that specialize in Galettes (Breton crepes). Very pleasant.

Well worth visiting this pretty port, but mainly to visit the resaturants there, which are great if you like fresh fish at very reasonable prices for the quality.
