This gogeous cave used to be an important production place of the famous "Pommes Tapées"(apple slice) during the last century.

This trade was a real industry during the 19th century but it completely died out on the eve of the 1srt Wordl War, we are new the only one to carry on this craft. We invite you to taste this mysterious delicacy that has often been showed on television. Visit of one hour. Plan warm clothes.

I really wouldn't bother We thought this was really expensive for what it was and really wasn't worth the detour to get to it. Staff were enthusiastic about the place but i think was was more suited to the french who may have used this product in hard times

To discover an ancient method of apple preservation used by sailors. You will also taste this local hand made production.

Our world renowned guide book had recommended this site so we stayed an extra day in the area especially to visit. Very expensive compared to other attractions in the area for what is offered. A few troglodyte caves with some typical wine/fruit growing region artefacts and a little about the art of tapping apples. A short film available in English... More

The dried, flattened apples they produce here was our main reason for visit and on that side of it we were glad to have visited. You also get to have a look thru a troglodyte cave.
