This church is not far from Dresden, just a short bus journey! The palace is so worth a visit, it’s set in the middle of a beautiful lake and the building itself is stunning.

We toured the hunting castle and truly enjoyed the history and amazing decor and antler displays throughout the building. The history and interesting stories of the hunting trips and seasonal events at this architecturally beautiful building. Built with its own church.

We visit this hunting Castle every time we visit Dresden, the whole area is beautiful. We did the audio tour the first time and loved it. Nowadays we visit just to enjoy the walks in the woods, and to admire the castle and its smaller...More

We visite beacuse of the old movie about Cinderella (Czech/German production), and we were not dissapointed. You can try on her shoe in the castle stairs. However, they could have done a lot more, and also opened more of the castle for the public.

As previous reviews said there is nothing much to see inside castle. The garden around it and nearby area is amazingly beautiful.

After visit pilmitz palace, it looks little bit wilder and smaller than Pilmitz. However, it is also good. But it does not have great garden as Pilmitz does. You can find great thing in the mountain besides the palace. You can take carriage also.

The castle per se has almost nothing. I even made the terrible mistake of buying the tickets to get inside both the big castle and the small house, where the tour is only available in German. It gave me definitely a chance to enjoy the...More

Like most other castles, this castle also reveals the opulent life style of the people who lived there. However, it's debatable whether or not they led happy lives. What a contrast, the day we visited the castle, there was a wedding taking place and what...More
