We had been looking for a beach and instead found this. OMG, were we happy! We walked about a half mile to the entrance and then just started walking on the path. It is very well marked and we saw all kinds of aquatic birds,...More

As reviewers have noted, the narrow, semi-paved lane off the highway barely allows two cars to pass, and the unpaved car park is down a steep, rocky incline. Still, the nature reserve area has many walking paths, and there's a viewing area where you can...More

The best beach is the calamoche... though there are several options. The problem is that on the beach you find nothing to sell, there are no wather and food. Also no shadow.

We went here for an afternoon, it can be very busy so worth avoiding 'rush hour'. Not the easiset of one-way bridged to get into the site's car park, but worth it! The nature reserve is beautiful and there are some lovely spots to choose...More

The walk from the car park to the beach was nice (10 mins). However it actually stank of seaweed and the beach was part pebbles, part sand and part seaweed. I wouldn't bother if it is the beach you are after!

This cove is in the Riserva Naturale di Vendicari (Vendicari Nature Reserve). You can drive there by car, but you must then walk about 15 minutes to get the cove. There are no facilities (bathroom, showers, food, etc) at the cover, so whatever you need,...More

Spiaggia Marianelli is a large and somewhat secluded beach in the Vendicari Reserve. It has been called "LGBTQ Friendly" and is "clothing optional" so it's an interesting mix to be sure! Bathing nude is common in Sweden, after a sauna or in the archipelago, so...More

A wonderful place to visit and relax, to allow yourself to stay in the nature , to listen the sea and the wind. We visited Eloro beach, which was part of the riserva and it was wonderful.

We spent a few hours walking along the coast, it was hot with little shade but had lovely views, I guess there would be migrating birds in the right season (winter). There was a beach. Very narrow approach road, would not suggest a wide car...More

San Lorenzo is okay but I think the other entrances are better and both have adequate parking. The northern entrance (spiaggia Eloro) is down some narrow, rough roads but takes you onto a lovely long beach, and not far to... More
