The Chiesa di Montevergine is not very large however it is quite lovely. The best part of this church are the awesome views from the church tower. The climb is not very tough however the stairway is narrow. But when you reach the top, you have wonderful views over the town of Noto. I couldn't stop taking photos. Definitely worth the climb.…

Another great example of the enlightened town planning after the earthquake in 1693, the elliptical church of the Montevergine forms a perfect closure at the top of the street. I didn't find the interior terribly interesting, but the climb up the steps of the twin towers is worth the effort and small cost (€2) to get a view over the rooftops of Noto.…

Small church, don’t mean to be rude but there are nicer churches in Sicily. But if you pay €2 each you can climb the windy spiral staircase (if you don’t mind a lot of steps up a windy narrow staircase). Nice view from the top. We only spent a few minutes here.

We wanted to have a moment with the place before it gets busy. It’s is so nice looking at this beauty without any distraction at all. For sure we will be back in May for their special event. More over, it is easy to locate and perfectly situated with a nice view.
