As others have said, a wonderful ruin. When we were there, they stopped us from going inside as a wedding was taking place. We were told that if we wanted, we could visit the nearby chapel (Eremo di Montesiepi) that was located on a small...More

This iconic Abby is just as beautiful on the outside as it is from the inside! When went twice while we were visiting the region. The first time at sunset and the time in the morning! I tried to get the famous photo from the...More

We didn't have the normal tourist experience here, because we were here for the wedding of our son in law's sister. And a gorgeous venue it was too. We did notice that the real tourists seemed to enjoy their visits.

We had our wedding here and it was a dream! My family went back the day after the wedding to bc the day of it was a whirlwind. It's such an impressive space. I highly recommend. Go early in the day and avoid the crowds.

The ruins of the old abbey are charming, though there is no art work to see. The visit is worth for the surroundings.

We came here for a wedding & the Abbey is absolutely stunning! We were told this is the oldest Abbey in Italy built in 1100! Perfect for a wedding:)!

We just got married here and didn't visit until a couple of days before our wedding and it was so beautiful. We were so pleased.

This is well worth a brief stop to see if you are nearby. Built in 12th century apparently, destroyed and never rebuilt, it is very grand.

Grand. No better word can describe this ruin. Lots of tourists, and can be difficult to park along the way, but it has the wow - factor of ancient history.
