Free entry and sympathetically restored. Interesting displays and well worth a short stop. Do make the effort to climb to the top....and take your camera.

Fantastic castle, free entry and fabulous views. The castle houses an exhibition of uniforms and weaponry. As it's off the tourist route we were on our own exploring this gem.

Was free entry, english explanations of all the exhibitions including 1800's and onwards uniforms, military history. Weaponry and more. Free access around up onto the look out posts and castle top. Is a bit of a trek up if you approach from the main road...More
