Be prepared for the hike up the hill, unless of course you go by car....! Lovely old small castle, used to be a private home, lots of history but does need some restoration work. Great views from the top, and land views from the top...More

Did the walking tour of the town noting the ancient tower defences until we reached the summit, grounds and the castle. Inside renovations have been made and information is provided. Entrance was free but we would gladly have made a donation toward its restoration. This...More

This place is only open second Sunday of the month and the surroundings aren't all that exciting. So unless you're here on the second sunday or have a guided tour don't bother.

This was a beautiful place to visit. I could see the building from my hotel room every morning. The structure is amazing and is very representative of Spanish archetecture. A must see.

I walked to this castle from my apartment near the beach. It is a small but interesting castle, restored in not quite original form. Nice views, and interesting history. A bit disappointed, but it was OK.

Beautiful visit with a rich history of the time. Also, the council one Sunday a month ago a craft and tasting product in the gardens of the palace, with music fair.
