Nice place but it seemed like we where not welcome in our bike gear at the restaurant Refuge so we had to ride to Llagostera to get a well earned dinner after the long climbe up to the top

We walked from Mas Nou via Romanya de la selva to the Cava de Daina. It is ideal for a stopover or as we did as the place to have a excellent meal in one of the 2 restaurants there. Both are closed on Tuesday....More

The Dolmen stands alone in a dried out forest, very ancient, very impressive. The only attraction we saw with no-one else there. A beautiful, tranquil place.

If you want to go for a romantic dinner with a fantastic view out of the most visited places, Romanyá is the place to go to! Very small village, only two (excellent) restaurants but worth the detour.

Romanya de la Selva is a gorgeous little hamlet, perfect to just amble through the narrow streets. From the balcony patio near the little church you can see right over the Les Gavarres National Park, across the Val d'Aro, to the mountains in the distance....More

Nice destination for a stroll and a break from the crowds. About 10th the size of Pals but tranquil. If you want your wallet relieved of cash stop by Can Roquet ...spectacular

Do not miss this lovely little town, as it is a relic from medieval times. A really authentic and unspoiled village up the hill, a short rode away from San Feliu de Guixols. Do not miss the restaurant Can Roquet

Many tourists love the Costa Brava for its relatively unspoilt coastal villages, at least by comparison with the horrors of Benidorm or Torremolinos. But few venture inland to discover little gems like Romanya de la Selva. With a few really classy restaurants, stunning views over...More

Romanyà is a lovely quiet village at the top of the Gavarres hills just inland from the (central) Costa Brava. The views are spectacular. There are a couple of restaurants, but don't miss the "Cova d'en Daina" dolmen, about 600 metres along the Calonge road.
