We did a tour of the sandy beach which is absolutely beautiful. They provided scuba diving and other fun amenities and a very nice Resturant while visiting the beach.

Great long beach to walk along but the water is still Atlantic Ocean so rough with lots of waves. Coconut beach is very similar.

This beach is on the southern part of the island on the atlantic ocean. It has a beautiful long beach with clean white sand, water is clean and with a beautiful view

Great beach in Vieux Fort not far from the airport. Nice to stop and soak in the views of the south island. Check out the bar Island Breeze while you are there!

This is a very beautiful beach and extremely quiet. It felt like there was no one for miles! We were greeted by some dogs that were very friendly and respected your space. Unless you felt like petting them, they were up for that too. The...More

Staying at the Coconut Bay resort is great, but the beach isn't wonderful for swimming. But, all you have to do is walk 10 minutes to the lovely Sandy Beach (yes, that's it's real name), and play in the water to your heart's content.

We stopped by Sandy Beach to check out the kiteboarding lessons but it was too windy that day. We went for a nice long walk on the beach, though, after having lunch with toes in the sand and enjoyed a nice relaxing afternoon there.

Beach by Coconut bay - lovely and warm with onshore breeze. Yes some seagrass - and can be a bit cloudy near shore - but great for snorkelling if you get out a bit. We also did some sea kayaking which was fun!

Sand cool under foot. Long stretch of beach, perfect for walking along. Only thing is the sea grass, but that's nature

Whats there not to like about this beach. Its gradual, sandy, very blue water and a great view of the Maria Islands. Very nice beach!

There are much closer beaches to access. Pigeon Island is one. There is a great national park there with hiking opportunities. Chair rental available. Rodney Bay is another option, although on cruise ship days, it's just... More

Yes, it's walkable. It's much better than the beach at coconut bay! Very clean, and a very nice walk where u will see the locals, as well as the horses on the beach!
