We went by taxi as we couldn't figure out the bus route despite living in Manizales for 6m. The taxi cost 10,000 from Cable. The return bus stops right outside the entrance so it was easy to get back to town. It stopped at Los Funiculares where you can get another bus to Cable. They're the closest hot springs to... More

These hot springs are a nice place to relax and enjoy the warm terminal spring water. There are two pools with the upper one hotter than the other. They have a cafe/restaurant on site if you want something to eat or drink as well. It costs 18,000 COP each to get in. Or if you want to eat as well... More

The Tierra Viva Thermals are the best option in Manizales due they are located 10 minutes from the city. Have 2 pools with a natural finish thats make you feel as being at the middle of the mountain. The place have a restaurant and offer all kind of drink you can take them while you are in the pool. The... More

This is not a natural hot spring but simply a pool (or two when one of them isn't closed) with hot spring water. There is a little bit of nature around it and it can be quite nice when there are not many people around. Bring a book or something else to do as you're only supposed to stay in... More

It was a relaxing saturday at this spa, we where one of the few guests, so it was very nice and calm. The pools are surrouned by a natural scenery with butterflies and hummingbirds. The staff was very friendly and the price we had to pay was fair.

In total fairness, the 1 star is only being given to Gustavo at the reception. This man gave me the most horrible service that I've seen if 5 months in South America. We were told that once we'd get in, we could not leave the place again in order to get food. Nor could we bring our bags inside. I... More

We chose this attraction on a day was raining cats and dogs.Really didn't know what to expect but when we arrived all the doubts vanished. The water was hot and full of minerals hence the weird taste i mentioned in title.Another good things that we were alone, no other people disturbed our relexation and costs only 1500 COP/person.Highly recommended.

Went on a Friday night with friends, hardly anyone was there because it was a long weekend. Two pools to choose from. One is slightly warmer than the other. Bar right there if you want drinks or food. We didn't stay at the hotel, but there is one there. Tierra Viva is smaller than the other hot spring nearby, feels... More

We visited the Thermal Pools on a Monday afternoon and there were only a few visitors there that day. As we drove through the industrial part of the city we wondered what were we getting into? We had chosen to go to these Thermal Pools as we were told they were natural pools in a nice setting and they were.... More
