There are no shades, so is a good spot to get a Tan, but a bit warmer, when you need a shade to refresh. But is also a good place to do running and of course surfing.

Beautiful sand beach, good surf, great people. A must experience while in the area. Summer seems to never end there.

Spectacular beach and surf and extremely friendly locales! And, if you are into yoga and fresh fish (fishing excursions), this destination is spectacular!

Great beach, so much to do. Surf, snorkel, play, watch the amazing sunset! Great beach!! My 10-year-old son could spend all day everyday here. Be aware of the rip tides, and shuffle your feet when entering the water to avoid sting rays.

We stayed there longer than planned. This place is magic and adopts you like a home. It is perfect for surfing, yoga and relaxation. No party here

Spent a week taking surfing lessons with the Safari Surf School on Playa Guinoes and hope to be back next year. It is just a 5 minute walk from Olas Verdes Hotel or El Manglar Restaurant.

Great long, shelving beach with both firm and soft sand. Only drawback is the lack of shade. A good 'walking beach', apart from at high tide when you have to walk on the dry, very soft sand.

No rocks, easy grade and soft sand,. Went from 7-10am for a surf lesson and loved it. Not too busy at that time of day.

If you are going to be there for a week or more I would recommend a a 4 x 4 and a golf cart. Its fun to travel around on a golf cart but for traveling away from town you will need the vehicle. Unless you are very good at... More
