Very pretty and huge cathedral in the center of Santa Ana. Unfortunately, the facade was covered in scaffolding when we visited. But it is still nice to see and worth a walk through, though the interior is more modest than many other cathedrals.

This was the very first attraction I want to see when I arrived in Santa Ana. To my dismay, it was closed when I arrived so I just took pictures of its outside facades and towers.

My second attempt was a success, it was opened. The main altar has the statue of Jesus on the cross and above it are the statues of Santa Ana and her daughter, Mary. There are few more religious statues on both sides of the church.

As I was leaving, a man started closing the side entrance and the rest of the visitors started leaving as well.

This is large cathedral located in the central square of Santa Ana, adjacent to the theatre.

It’s quite striking and beautiful with a white neo gothic facade and more of a classic brick main section.

It’s absolutely covered in pigeons, which they actually feed for their amusement.

You can go in for free and there is a small souvenir stand inside.

Overall it was a beautiful site in a the otherwise gritty city of Santa Ana.

Right in the main square of Santa Ana, the cathedral cannot be missed. With its ornate architecture, wandering around the inside was also interesting, even for those that are not particularly religious. We were there during mass, which made the experience that much better. There is a small shop right when you walk in to buy small souvenirs, if desired. Along with the theater and palace in this sqaure, I would recommend checking it out.

This is a huge hotel cathedral located on the plaza. The main attraction was all of the pigeons. The kids loved running through them.

This cathedral is unique in that parts of it burned down over the years (lightning strikes). Quite interesting to see the two different sections of it.

Beautiful snow-white cathedral. We were lucky - we found a wedding, this added its charm to the interior of the cathedral.

The building is cool, I enjoy the colonial style, the cathedral and its square is a nice place to visit and walk around, also a good place to check out local street food, although you need to make sure choose them wisely... Only fully cooked street food.

A beautiful old white building set in the back drop of a park. The architecture is awesome. Very calm as expected in a place of worship. Spent around half an hour
