My brother and I visited this lovely attraction on a day when there was a tour with explanations of the old aircraft collection. Reasonably priced it was wonderful to walk amongst these old aircraft many provided by film director Peter Jackson. While there a kittyhawk...More

Visited the Vintage Aviator during my Masterton stay. I could not believe the quality and rarity of the aircraft displayed and flown there. The attention to detail and authenticity is unbelievable and the equally friendly and knowledgeable staff made the experience even better. To hear...More

We found the couple that took us through fascinating. There's so much there and when you consider some are original its nothing short of staggering. When you consider some have been made locally well, seriously its something special.

I was part of a tour group recently who spent an hour or so on a private tour here. Gene de Marco an experienced pilot who flies these planes enjoyed showing us this fantastic collection. It is one of three operations backed by Peter Jackson...More

We stayed in Masterton for 2 nights just to visit this AMAZING Place. Not just a Museum, but the Workshops in which they make, no, resurrect the Flying Machines from the Great War. Faithful reproductions made out of modern materials for their Pilots Safety. Except...More
