This is the 2nd tallest light house on the USA's east coast and Has a wonderful collection of outbuildings which also sets it apart. There's even a nature trail and a collection of Cuban refugee's vessels that amazingly they fled Cuba in. So all in all it makes for a very educational day--with museum collections on lighthouses, keeper's homes and... More

We enjoyed learning about Florida's tallest light house and its history. Well worth the money and a nice way to spend a beautiful Feb afternoon.

We have been to many, many lighthouses but his has to be one of the best,if not "the" best. Plan to spend a half a day there because there is a lot to see. There are several buildings, each displaying a different aspect of the lighthouse life. They even have a number of Cuban refuge boats that washed ashore in... More

So worth the trip down there!! We are staying in Daytona for the race and ventured down there. We made it all the way up! Going up wasn't that bad at all! It was absolutely gorgeous everywhere we went on the grounds. The ladies at the gift shop were super nice!

You can't beat the beautiful views. Not to mention the great exercise. Gift shop prices could be better but the unique items are understandable. Nice area with great restaurants/bars nearby.

A nice rainy day thing to do in the Daytona area. You can get a great view of the ocean and the Halifax river at Ponce inlet. Check it out just beautiful. The Marine Science Center is here also so many nice shops.

This is the second year that we have gone to the lighthouse. If you are 62 or above, you can get a year pass for $10 plus ten percent off gift shop. As others have mentioned, there are various buildings to tour besides the lighthouse. Within a month, we were there maybe three times. One time they had a small... More

The view from the top of the lighthouse is phanominal. But the 8 different museum attractions are alone worth the $6.95 admission price. The museum with all the lenses with interactive displays on how they work and are designed was interesting and informative. We spent well over an hour at this lighthouse and museum. It is far more than just... More

The grounds and buildings at this place are well-maintained. Friendly and helpful employees in the gift shop where tickets are purchased to enter the grounds. Though we have been here a few times over the years, it is the first time we have taken our time to see everything on the grounds and climb to the top of the lighthouse.... More
