We spent hours here, and it was one of the high points of our kids visit to Scotland. I never knew that weaving was so interesting. Fantastic interpretive guides and plenty of activities for the kids, from hands-on wool spinning and weaving to treasure hunts. It really is a must-see, especially for families.

Loved visiting the Mill where we were made very welcome. Staff were extremely knowledgeable and friendly, they went out of their way to show us the equipment and explain how it all worked. Also the ladies in the shop were very helpful in finding the right size of Baker Boys hat for me. If you are anywhere near Knockando I... More

Great little heritage wool mill with lots of working machinery to explain how wool is spun into threads and woven into cloth. A well presented film also goes thro the whole process. We visited when the mill was very quiet in November and we were lucky enough to get face to face instruction on the weaving process by one of... More

A wonderful experience here shared with a group of friends with a 'guided tour' of this fascinating attraction. So beautifully preserved and maintained. Delightful Coffee Shop to complete the visit. Do go and visit if you are in the area.

This is a very interesting and authentic industrial revolution woolen mill. You can wander through the exhibitions at your own pace. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Really enjoyed a visit to the Knockando Woolmill to see a working part of our heritage and enjoyed a light lunch in the 'byre'. Friendly service in a quaint building. Lovely products for sale in the mill shop, not cheap but all high quality items. The staff running the mill as a trust are very pleasant and just enthuse the... More

Loving re-creation of traditional woollen mill with recreation of tradtional weavers' cottages, a restored fully working mill and shop selling classy woolens and other gifts. Also a great café serving homee-made cakes.

We were in the area to go to the Cardhu Distillery Shop and then discovered the woolmill. The video provided an informative history of the woolmill and its deep connection to the area. We have visited other woolmills in the past but learned some new facts here. If you have an opportunity to visit and are interested in textiles, you... More

We didn't have a lot of time so couldn't visit the Mill but the cafe attached is wonderful. Delicious food and good friendly service.
