A sweet little walk from the football grounds, crossing the main road and follow the path. Young children enjoyed seeing the tall trees and the dog enjoyed paddling too! Once at the falls there were a number of people there swimming / jumping in or paddling.

We have a nice walk up to the falls while enjoying the aroma at certain points from the aberlour distillery. At the falls we had a dip in to cool off

Well worth the gentle 20 mins walk out from Aberlour but not much more to do once you have seen them. We extend the walk out past The GlenAllachie Distillery, Glenallachie.

Path runs along a distillery and stream. Not much of an incline and trail was well marked. We went in early morning so ground was frozen. Path probably muddy in afternoon or around rain. View was breathe taking when arrived at waterfall. Lots of other hikers on trail and some dogs. Overall great experience.

First time here and a nice easy walk from Aberlour along an unmade path surrounded by trees etc all the way to the falls. Probably about a 15 min walk. Nice view of the falls at the end of the path and the day we were there was just after a heavy rainfall the previous day so they were quite impressive.

Will be back now I know where to go!

A virtual heartbeat from the village high street, the lovely, easy walk to the falls makes for a very pleasant trek. The falls is not massive, but more on the quaint side. Nevertheless it's an impressive and surprising feature so close to the lovely town of Aberlour. Nestled among the flaura the falls are begging to be photographed. Nice area for a family visit.

Parking is ample on the nearby main street of Aberlour, the path up to the falls is well signed.

The route itself is well maintained making the going quite easy. It is a fair bit of uphill but take your time as the scenery and atmosphere is amazing.

At the falls themselves there is a bench or 2, the site before you is amazing and well worth the visit! Definitely worth a swim and a cool off on a hot day!

Carry on up past the falls before eventually turning right along a woodland path, following this all the way down to the road, downhill back into the main town for a decent looped walk.

The Mash Tun pub awaits you for some amazing food once you’ve built up the appetite.

We parked in a small parking area just past Aberlour distillery, 50m up the hill from the main entrance to the falls, having driven through the main street of Aberlour, heading west.
A leisurely 15 - 20 minute walk to the falls. Sensible footwear applies.
After the falls we headed uphill and looped anti-clockwise back towards Aberlour, passing quaint houses and lovely gardens once out of the woods. This walk took about 20 - 30 minutes to get back to the main street and a cafe stop. Sitting outside and taking in the local sights. We had a lovely afternoon.

Try the circular walk for a longer stroll. The falls themselves are very lovely, well fenced. Although short, be aware that the walk can be muddy and you are sometimes walking over rough ground, so make sure your feet are safely clad. Watch out for birdlife and take time to just stand, watch and listen. Why not?
