The gardens are topiary gardens with a lot of variety. One of the most beautiful gardens I have ever visited. I didn't plan to go there, but read so many good descriptions that I decided to squeeze it in and was glad I did! The staff persons that I had contact with were exceptionally helpful and nice.

We are pleased that we took the time to visit these gardens. As gardeners we found the French garden layouts interesting. Do not miss the white garden. There are good views around the surrounding area. If anything the 12.50€ per person entrance fee a little steep.

The gardens are beautifully maintained and manicured with stunning vistas at every turn. The old stone manor, stables and chapel give the gardens a sense of place and a time gone by. Enjoy the peace and quiet as you wander through the seven gardens and admire the clipped topiary, trees and flowers. The restaurant serves light meals and has a... More

Less of a visit, more of an experience. Eyrignac garden is a unique blend to reset the busy mind, de-stress, look and listen. I can't imagine it could possibly exist anywhere but in mid-France, the manor's architecture, hedge planting and endless work to create and maintain the hand clipped hedges and topiary art forms is amazing. Saunter through the seven... More

Entitled as the best garden in the area, it didn't come up to scratch for us. Expensive at 12.50 euro each, ok if you like grass you can't walk on and topiary borders hedges and trees. I expect there are better ways we will spend our time and money elsewhere.

It was not the best day to visit the Garden of Eyrignac as it was raining, but it was impressive. The garden is really beautiful, everything is described and explained in english and french which allows to learn more about the history of the garden and the plants used to build it.... and the lawns are like carpets! The garden... More

Yes ,if you like box hedges or,indeed, any sort of green hedge......this is a delight. Marvel at the green grass not to be walked upon, appreciate the huge number of French gardening hours expended pruning them and fully enjoy the views of sculptured hedge upon sculptured bush upon manicured tree. So it will please some people, especially gardeners of an anorakic nature who... More

We first came here about 15 years ago so it was lovely to return. Beautifully maintained gardens and great way to spend a couple of hours. The gardens are sectioned off so it is like walking room to room. After your walk around there is a decent restaurant/ coffee shop to recharge your batteries.

We arrived here early as it was expected to be 35 degrees. It was surprisingly quiet we hired the iPod guide and thus was very useful in gaining all of the information about each garden. It's so perfectly manicured and all by hand. 20,0000 hours a year it takes to have it look so perfect. Well worth the visit and... More
