Decided to do a road trip from London though 6 countries across Europe and Switzerland was one of our destination(Samedan). This was the highlight and most memorable road trip ever(with 2 young boys). Went through Bernina Pass on our way to Tirano, Italy and the experience....wow! the bends and curves, waterfalls, height mountains........

Rode the Bernina Express up along to St Mortitz. Breathtaking views and at a great pace. Plenty of stops to admire the great views. Excellent and not to costly

Travelling by car only to St. Moritz, Switzerland from Artogne ,Italy , we thought it was just simple. It's about 3 hours of driving. My husband and I did not expect that the GPS will bring us to the Bernina pass which gives us the most amazing road trip I have experienced. The view is spectacular and the feeling is... More

We took this one day trip last week and loved every minute of the day. The fringe benefit was escaping the heat of Milan. We rode the train with the windows open and enjoyed mother nature's air conditioning as the train worked its way up into the snow covered Alps towards our destination - St. Moritz. The panoramic cars allow for... MILAN – ZURICH & THE RED LEGEND BERNINA EXPRESS It's arguably the most scenic train rides in Europe and for that matter, the world, and a personal favourite too. The fabulous red legend Bernina Express train takes you through incredible alpine landscapes and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's a narrow gauge railway with panoramic sightseeing cars run by the... More

This is a fantastic day trip from Milan if you have the time and is well worth the money. We booked the Bernina Express tour with Viator but you can go through numerous agencies or the Milan Visitor Centre. The tour leaves from the Visitor Centre at 7am by coach. The drive to Tirano has one stop about halfway for... More

We booked the Bernina Express Train from Tirano to St Moritz prior to leaving for Italy. We trained from Varenna to Tirano (check the train schedules ahead of time to and from Tirano). We had friends recommend this trip and we were not disappointed. Definitely pay the extra euros and book the panoramic train for great views of the Alps... More

We travelled from Tirana to St Moritz on the Bernina Express. It was absolutely fantastic. The scenery was out of this world.
