A decent beach with a nice slow slope into the water so it's great for kids. Can get very busy and would suggest walking down away from the main area as it's quieter and the tavernas tended to be a little better

Not quite sandy - you lay on a hard ground, looks like clay or something. The water is clean and salty. Too many restaurants, but also nice cozy places with sunbeds. The beach line is quite thin, so it could be really crowded in mid-season....More

Near the strip, it's wall to wall sunbeds - packed. Walk for half a mile or so and that disappears, leaving a very nice beach - great for long walks. Don't bother snorkelling, nothing to see.

A bit untidy but we enjoyed walking along the beach to Cameo Island and if you walk in the other direction you will find a quieter part of the beach.

Yes the 1 mile or so between Laganos and Kalamaki is dunes and contains turtle nests. In the other direction, At Agias Sostis there are relaxing cocktail bars restaurants and private villas.
