Great place for a swim and a leisurely picnic by a natural rock pool. There are BBQ facilities and toilets available with a convenience store just ups the road (walking distance). Perfect on a hot day.

We visited during winter and evidence of recent flooding and therefore not at its best. I do not see it as a must do activity.

Swim upstream. Nice for a fresh dip. But too many people now days. Try the national park at the end of currumbin creek road where the water is flowing more and there are many water holes to choose from.

The water is close to where you park your car, there is a grassy area easy to access the water. Otherwise u might have to climb over some rocks.
