This is a great place to learn about Mexican ceramics. It's small and simple, but each salon showcases a different type of ceramic and explains the technique that makes it unique. After visiting, you'll understand the different types of pieces you see elsewhere. We spoke...More

Well worth the time for a quick visit to this small place. There are several small rooms with different ceramic artwork in each.

Entrance fee is free. Display was simple but clean. Made the ceramic stand out. Many nice pieces, some exquisite even. Not a lot of explanation unfortunately. I recommend spend about 45 minutes to an hour here.

This is a very nice museum with many, many pieces of ceramic art on display. The whole place can be viewed in about an hour but we spent around two hours there.

a small but charming museum right on the main street of Independencia. You can see and learn about the different ceramic traditions of the area. Informative and interesting.

I visited the museum a few days after the competition was over for the regional champions of ceramic arts. You're able to see examples of many different regional techniques, past winners, and present winners. No charge to visit. Nice bathrooms and friendly staffers.

A fabulous array of local pottery and ceramic styles...historically traditional as well as current artists' approaches to traditional methods. You can't find a more appropriate setting than this beautiful old estate in the middle of Independencia. Well worth taking a look inside...and find yourself in...More
