This beach is great!!! Clear water and soft sand made the perfect stay here. Best was to watch the landing planes flying over this area. A must while spending your time on Zante.

The sunbed and umbrella hire fees are not the cheapest, but justifiable for a full day - we managed to haggle the price down by €5 for three beds! Gently shelving beach so very safe for youngsters.

Definitely beach worth of a visit. Clean, clear water and full of different fishes you can observe whilst snorkelling. Not crowded at all and we went in the middle of the high season (August!). Much better and bigger than nearby Laganas Beach. You can also...More

Lovely beach. Great views of the planes coming in to land. Shop for refreshments. Sun lounges available for hire.

This soft, sandy beach is lovely. 8 euros for two sunbeds and a brolly all day, close enough to the sea that the water lazily lapped at the end of the sunbed. The water is crystalline and you can walk out a long way before...More

Lovely long beach, quite shallow clear blue water, good for beginner snorkelling. We had lots of small fishes swimming around our legs, a few medium size ones and saw about 6 bigger fish. You are warned not to take shells or anything else natural away...More

Really lovely family friendly beach. Even has turtles nesting which the locals protect strongly. Sun beds and umbrellas are available and the sea is shallow, clear and warm. Bars and shops are close by too.

Kalamaki beach is on zakynthos and not Corfu. Snorkelling is good, but best to walk along beach or get bus to laganas and go snorkelling there where you can see the turtles.

Yes, it's a lovely walk along the beach but not allowed on the beach after sunset because of the nesting turtles
