It was a rainy night but we found a great spot in a restaurant just beside the building, a lot of joy and energy from the music and images, I just saw a similar one in Campeche City but this one was great since I was able to enjoy it undercover and with a beer in the hand

You can see light show screening on the Major building walls, Besides you can choose among restaurants from surrounding area. Light shows usually starts around 8:00 PM and they last around 15 minutes. Shows are according to the season, so they show something related (i.e. Mexico Independence Day, Christmas, etc)

If you go to downtown restaurants this is a good opportunity to see light show (this is with traditional music) and on weekends you can see a short clip explaining Cordoba history.

Cordoba is one charming place to be. Cordoba, particularly the zocalo, is a very low key, safe place to be. The palacio is well lit at night and has a light show several times during the evening. DO NOT MISS the dancers on the weekends. Baile Jarocho is excellent.

It is an early 1900´s building, has suffered numerous renovations over the years but the facade keeps it original taste. Perhaps the highlights of this building are the mural that welcomes visitors on the walls of the stairs to the the second floor, and on the other hand the lights show the runs on weekend nights and the combines beautiful music with a well orchestrated lights show

The Palacio Municipal de Córdoba is a functioning municipal building that houses many city offices. There were always lots of people doing business in the building, sitting on the steps, and just enjoying life of the zocalo. We even saw some teachers demonstrating in front of the building one afternoon.

On the night, the Palacio offers a light and music show where the Building jumps with lots of lights and a good music! I saw about three shows starting aroung 8 or 9 pm. Take a table in one of the restaurants close to the Palacio and enjoy!

Does the Palacio Municipal have murals? If so, by whom? Subject matter?

I am currently living in Fortin......eat frequently across from the palacio and don't recall seeing any murals.
The BEST murals I've seen are along the river San Antonio in Cordoba. The "theme" seems to be life.
