Fantastic experience, we four 2 adults and 2 kids really enjoyed. The trail is marked and appropriately maintained. Lots of points to rest and to enjoy the views, the weather was perfect.

Great for a walk with the family and kids. Lots of points to rest and to enjoy the views.
You’ll end up at a viewing point that overlooks a quite and empty space of beach and sea where lots of oil tankers are parked/waiting.

This was my first hike in the UAE and it was totally worth it.

I was with 3 friends -- all weekend hikers -- and they had a breeze. Unfortunately, the novice that I am didn't but the view from the peak was well worth my beginner's struggle.

The trail is well laid out and marked visibly. Every person we bumped into were amazing and friendly. It felt like a family affair, as we saw children and adults on various states of going up or down the trail. Hiking with a mask was not even an issue. Even at 3-4pm on a January weekend, the weather was perfect.

Make sure you bring a small bottle of water with you and take a bathroom break before you drive up. There are no bathrooms at the rest stop nor at the trail.

Once at the peak, you will have you break taken away at the sight of the town, the industrial port, the hillsides around you.

The 1800m climb took us about 1.5hours to go up and about an hour to descend.

Definitely a must-do.

This was my first experience of trekking a mountain, it was an awesome experience though I realised how unhealthy I had become esp. the up-hill climb was quiet challenging for me.
The view from the top is amazing and serene that you could take young kids as well, as my boys were very enthusiastic to get to the top.
It is located in Korfakkan, little over an hour's drive from Dubai. I recommend to leave early in the morning as it does tend to get sunny during the day and might make it difficult for 1st timers like myself.

It’s a very interesting hiking track that’s good to try with the family as it’s not difficult at all and you can spot stunning view from the top . Take water and energy snacks in your small backpack and maybe a stick and of you go

Worth it! Total 3 hours - take good shoes, water and a snack. Make sure you pee before as there is no toilet at the starting point as well at the end.

2600 meters

When the sun is coming around 9-10 am, it is already too hot, so start latest by 7 am.

Afterwards go to the new Starbucks on the cornice - just 5 min drive

This is definitely one of the best hikes that you can do in the UAE. Can even be done with kids and pets. It took us almost 2h to get to the top. Wonderful views!

Easy hike with a trail. Takes approximately 1.5 - 2 hours. No toilets or shops around. Carry enough water and wear hiking friendly attire and shoes. Free parking (short term and long term parking).

Amazing views and relatively easy hike (i may have had to stop to catch my breath a couple of times)
Well worth a morning or afternoon hike and I would go as far to say it would be worth a day trip from Dubai if you didn't want to stay over anywhere....
