During the night, LED lights up the bridge. Happened to enjoy a coffee nearby the bridge. A little bit regret because I didn't manage to take a clearer view in the morning.

We were able to find a coffee shop on the bridge and watch the boats go by at night...with their lanterns sending beams of light reflecting on the waters.

Phoenix Ancient Town has a few characteristic bridges, and Hong Bridge is the most famous and photogenic when lit up at night. That bridge reminded me of another photogenic bridge in Florence, Italy “Ponte Vecchio”. The shops on that bridge in Florence sold gold jewellery. This one didn’t have any theme for the shops… just touristy things. But this tourist... More

The Hong Qiao (Rainbow) Bridge in Fenghuang is a landmark and interesting to view from outside. But inside it is filled with the same kinds of shops that you can see in many places in the tourist areas. Go visit when you are touring Fenghuang, but be sure to visit the many other shops and restaurants in the area.

Souvenir and snack shops on both sides of the passage. Was following guide so I didn't stop.,but the things sold are similar to the rest of the stuff sold in the whole town.

Beautiful place with lovely airy bay windows, all in the ancient Miao minority styles - could sit there all day and watch the river flow by. The place was gearing up for the Dragon Boat Race in a few days and the drums of the boats practicing added to the scene. Lovely place

Like pretty much the rest of the town, the bridge is a marvel of old architecture, something you should not miss. However, inside, the bridge is lined with tourist tailored shops selling cheap crapware. Ton of people with street vendors pushing everything from boat rides to gangsta' style photos.

Not much tourists during winter. I almost missed the entrance of this wonderful bridge. To spend an evening sitting at the rattan chair tasting the Chinese tea is an enjoyable and unforgettable thing . Day scene is normal as you could also view from other corners in the old city. Night scene is beautiful and this is the perfect site... More

This bridge is the one of Fenghuang old town highlight. The most beautiful time is autumn night. The second floor of this bridge is the landmark point, yo can take some photos from here.

With two compact and firm mason piers and three arcs the Phoenix Hong Bridge spans the Tuojiang River and connects Hongqiao Middle Rd with East Rd for pedestrians only. The bridge is covered with a two story wooden building resembling a market hall, where myriad street hawkers and small stalls fight for the attention of the pedestrians which are pushing... More
