top adventure - but has its price

At 63€ per person it's a rip off. Cable car and 4x4 truck to 2900m starting at 2000m. You also have no weather warning before going up and you could end up in a gale. A walk at the craters near the car park are just as good with pretty much the same views. Don't expect to see any flowing... More

We wanted to do the summit and got the information from Gruppo... that it was not possible that day due to conditions. So we took the standard tour/walk at 2900 m (cableway, bus, guide (which was from Gruppo...)) for 63 EUR. At 2900 m we learnt that it was just not possible with Gruppo... Other tours went to the top.... More

Visiting Sicily we of course had to visit the top of the Etna. And we had an amazing experience. Some more background. There are many possibilities and we had difficulties to find the right one. From the south side you can take the cable way up and get transported by 4x4 buses to 2900m. Cost 63€. However, we wanted to... More

Having heard good things about them from various sources, I struggled on emails and on phone, to get some very basic questions answered. At the end of it, I was given an impression that I could show up at their office at Rifugio Sapienza after 9 am, and they would be able to organize an excursion for us (my wife... More

I am usually not so much into mass tourism things. Still, I highly recommend the excursion as a cool adventure. Expect up to 40 people in your group and be sure you can manage a moderate hike of 6 hours. Bring food and water. The rest will be taken care of by your guide, who will explain also a lot... More

Took the whole family all the way up to the top of Mount Etna. Then a Guide took us all around the top of the Volcano. My Grandchildren will remember this forever.

The only way to arrive until the top crater in safety with experts guides. I suggest to check the weather forecast to be sure that the excursion starts.

We went to the information center today for a guided tour with this agency. My husband spoke to the only guide available there. He felt more disturbing him than anything else. The guide was very arrogant, actually impolite, asking us to come back on the following day for a tour at 10:00 (the only tour available at all!!), to which... More

I do not like to write bad reviews. This is the first bad review I have ever written! :) I was not very impressed with our tour guide today. The cable car was 27 euros which we had no problem with but we decided to pay an extra $90 (for the two of us) to have a nice guided tour... More

This excursion was the best of my holidays in Sicily (i'm talking seriously!) The price is high by it's still in the average for that kind of excursion and it's extremely worth it. I'm sure that what made this experience so good was the guides, they were very professional. Thanks again for my "certificate" at the end of the journey.... More
