Took my Kites with me and rented some great Slingshot boards from Ben and Ellie at Tribe Watersports. What a good idea that was because I could swap for bigger boards on the couple of 'light wind' days. They always had super friendly staff on the beach who as well as launching and landing, insisted on pumping up and folding... More

I had heard that Watamu was one of the top places to kitesurf so when I found myself there for a few days and having completed about half an IKO course in the UK before the wind dropped off, I couldn't resist. Ben and the team at Tribe were really helpful and suggested I do a couple of 2hr 1-1... More

Really good business and well run by Ben, from our arrival to being out on the water there is minimum fuss, and enough instruction to get you going and out into the sea. We took the beginners course with Fionn, top lad from Ireland who looked after us both very well despite us being total beginners and had us both... More

Great kitesurfing classes, at the perfect spot! Friendly teachers, good atmosphere, flexible planning and perfect waters to learn kitesurfing. Would recommend the beginners course!

We had a 2-days kitesurfing beginner class with such a knowledgeable team, in unspoiled uncrowded perfect spot. A shame we didn't have enough time to go through the whole 3-days course but it only makes it a valid excuse to come back to Watamu and do it all over again. Many thanks to Ben and Paulo.

Another awesome trip to Watamu with Tribe. This time included a boat trip to swim and paddle with the dolphins and a safari into Tsavo - both of which I can't recommend highly enough! Thanks and see you all again soon.

This was my second trip to Watamu so I was looking for something to do that I hadn't done before. A trip with Tribe to swim with dolphins was certainly that! We set off on a boat with a really friendly crew, and with Ben's keen eye soon spotted the dolphins. We had paddle boards so could get really close,... More

Ben and Ellie took us out on a beautiful boat to find a family of happy, free, wild dolphins. We tried paddle boarding which was really fun but I would need practice at. We swam in the sea with the dolphins playing nearby. I have dreamed of being out in the ocean with dolphins so this really was a dream... More

What an amazing experience! Ben and Ellie got is out early so we were the first ones to find a family of dolphins and got straight into the water, with some of us on paddle boards too! I got sea sick in the way, but with their tips on how to feel better I was still able to get out... More

Ben and Ellie have nailed this company to a tee. Professional teaching, friendly approach, patience, lovely characters and know their stuff. Definitely worth every penny! They even took me for a celebratory drink afterwards, very sweet and kind. I can't wait to get back out there and get on the water. See you soon guys!
