Great museum for fans of Tintin in a beautiful building. Definitely worth the trip to Louvain-la-Neuve. There's a free audio guide which guides you through the life of Herge and his evolution as an artist, as well as the development of the Tintin stories. Don't miss the little games that come on the audio guide. All areas of the building... More

The Hergé museum near Brussels is interesting, we learn many facts about Hergé lifetime and we can take a look on original Tintin sketchs, my favorite thing. We can't regret the museum is a little bit too much intellectual, this is definitely not a family target place. The visit was about 1,5 hour. The restaurant was full when i was... More

EUR10 to enter. Includes audio guide which is critical to enjoy experience. There is a Souvenir shop as expected which caters for all price points.

Amazing place! I recommend it to anyone, not only Tintin fans. It's a story of passion and dreams. Easily connected to the center of Brussels by train. Perfect way of spending your Sunday out (its for free every first Sunday of the month).

Within a 30 min drive you find this modern designed museum. It takes you through the whole story of Herge, the founder of one of Belgium best export products: Tintin. Even a plane of the Belgium national airline is printed with this comic character. The museum has different layers and shows his amazing talent for cartoons which has been recognised... More

I am not as familiar with TinTin as the rest of my family but I thoroughly enjoyed this museum. I learnt about Herge's life, the stories behind the stories and his other works including such surprises as posters. We had some trouble finding it as we were driving and the centre of the town is car-free so one needs to... More

Protip: Get to the Herge Museum by asking your hotel to contact Citybus tours (hopefully your hotel is a partner). We were picked up at 1pm from our hotel and were back by 6pm. The 20 euro fees includes the return trip and the museum entrance. The service was such a great time saver and ensured you (as presumably a... More

Having grown up with Tintin and being a fan, we made it a point to go (a little) out of our way from Denmark via Germany to Normandy and visit the Hergé Muséum. I had read some of the reviews on TripAdvisor before visiting. Although it made me a little apprehensive I went with an open mind. The major problem... More

Wow! This museum to Herge's art is stunning! Not just the architecture and setting but of course the contents too! The museum guides you through the anthology of the Tintin books but includes all the other creations of Georges Remi as well. The rooms are nicely darkened so the artwork stands out, but there are elevated walkways between rooms that... More
