We toured this intimate museum with our nine year olds for 2-3 hours. The audio guides were great, helping us learn about Herge, Tin Tin, and the context for his creations. Everyone loved it! Parking was easy once we found the right parking garage.

Too expensive. I like teh hero Tintin and the ones who accompanied him during the years Hergé did draw them, but I think the people responsible for this place are too eager to earn money and I do not loke the way they act. Sorry...More

If you are a fan of Tin Tin and Snowy, this museum is a must. We spent about 2.5 hours following the exhibits from top to bottom - the audio guide, in English and other languages, is wonderful. Included with the admission price, the guide...More

From the outside, this museum is a superb piece of architecture, inspirated by the BD (Bande Dessinée, Cartoon" format. Inside, the most complete collection of Hergé's work, not only Tintin, but also Jo & Zette, Kik et Flupke, and lots of less famous characters of...More

I came in with great expectations. What a thrill to go visit a "monument" of the classic European comic scene. Even though, you get to see a lot of art work done by Hergé, I must admit I was a bit disappointed. You get to...More

Very well designed museum that takes visitors on a journey inside the 'genius' of Hergé. Puts a lot of the work of Hergé in their historical context and has a lot of material in there. A visit needs around 3 hours in my view. The...More

This museum is about an hour by train outside of Brussels. The museum gives a nice historical presentation of Herge's life while incorporating Tin Tin and his other works into the collection. The museum itself has a nice architectural layout. You'll spend about an hour...More

I would recommend getting the kids acquainted with Tintin first. Buy a few of the most child- friendly Tintin stories ( In Tibet, Secret of the Licorne, for example , or just let them choose themselves) and only then take... More

Check w your hotel if they can book you on a City Tours package that includes pick up and drop off at your hotel and the admission for the museum and the audio guide. I think this comes out cheaper and more convenient than... More
