In mid-October only one small cafe was open. That said, they had beach chairs and umbrellas, made sandwiches, and had beverages of all sorts. Even my espresso was perfect. How they manage all this with just a generator (nicely hidden from view) is amazing. Water...More

This is a wonderful beach for naturists like us after the beach bar half way between the start and the canal - long, sandy and plenty of space, with only 20 or so on the south stretch. Strictly speaking clothing optional as about half the...More

Went late September time, the weather was still good but the beach itself was nearly deserted. In comparison to most of the other beaches this one was mostly sand and went on as far as you can see. The water was clear and calm. Most...More

Halikounas has little in common with the rest of Corfu: it is a long stretch of sand, backed by the dunes that separate the sea from a lagoon. Flora (beautiful dune vegetation) and fauna (flamingos and other birds) can be found in abundance, so much...More

This is so far the best beach I have ever seen. The sea is smooth and warm, the sand is fine and clean, the ever-blowing light wind is exactly what you need as a freshener. There is a freshwater shower, dressing booth, a wooden pavement...More

This is a very long sandy beach away from it all. There are very limited facilities but there is at least one snack bar there with sun beds and shade for €3 a day. Best to pack a picnic if you want to be on...More

You should go to chalikounas beach. It is a sandy beach. I recommend Tayo beach bar, it is a beach bar with music anda has sunbeds in front of it. The cost is 3 euro for sunbed. It really worth it.

Hello, it's about 30km away. You have more options to take the road: on the east coast, passing near Achilleon which you can also visit, or towards Pelekas-Sinarades through the center of the island, direction south.
