The old town of Corfu is probably the most charming place of Greece. Located between two old fortresses, it is a nice example of ancient Venetian and Byzantine town, with small streets, photogenic points and nice views, beautiful houses made of local stone with wooden...More

The old town is an interesting experience, narrow streets lined with small shops and cafes. The buildings seem to be literally piled on top of each other, with every turn there is a different sight to take in. Small squares and little churches are dotted...More

Easy to walk around with lots of interesting buildings and nice views. The narrow old streets and tall buildings are charming and ever now and then open into a beautiful square.

Probably the fortress is the best part of the town together with the Listen otherwise the town is spoilt by the commercialisation. Its a great pity as it looses it culture and spoils the history.
