Possibly the best beach/beaches of the island. It´s actually two bays with a small peninsula in-between. Turquoise waters with sandy seabed and flat rocks with sunbeds around. I can imagine how crowded the place gets in high season, but in autumn it´s a delight. Most uploaded photos don´t do it justice. The colour of the waters is unique.

Aponisos is a small cove about a mile from the village of Limonaria. The sea is crystal clear and turquoise. Swimming is amazing. It has a good beach bar and shade under the pine trees. In the summer buses run from Skala or Milos but outside of the season you need a bike or scooter or if you like walking... More

My favorite place in the world to have fish by the sea. The staff is wonderful, the cooking, superb, and the view is unbelievable. Great swimming there too, but plan to eat at sunset for the real treat!

Aponisos can be reached easily by bus and offers a small quaint private beach on a tiny island attached to Angistri by a short walkway bridge.Owners offer loungers, umbrellas and a small coffee shop for drinks and snacks. A larger seafood restaurant is located just before the walkway to the island.

Nice little sandy beach 10 min drive from Skala. Nice restaurant as well. Could be very crowded in high season but was fantastic in the end of September.

Visited by taking the local bus from Agistri. Got a couple of sunbeds (with complimentary drink!) which we could have for whole day. All sunbeds have umbrellas and are close to the water's edge. Snack bar and loos close at hand. Beautifully peaceful with delicious swimming. We sauntered off to Taberna before taking the bus back to Scala. Lovely, lovely... More

Took bus from Skala. 2€ each. Fab views. Make sure you check times. Rented lounger for day and slipped into clear blue sea to swim. Fresh grilled sardines and wine at taberna before bus back. Fab day.

Great place with amazing view. Loved it, went two days in a row. Once by riding on bycicle and once by bus (2€ one way). By bycicle a bit challenging if you are not in shape.

An absolute delight. The clearest water I've ever seen, umbrellas to rent for shade and some floaters in the water to allow the children jump off and squeal with joy. Best beach on Agonises. I'm tempted to write "it's rubbish" only to keep other tourists away.

Aponisos is a heavenly place. The most beautiful views in all directions. The clean and clear water are welcoming to stay in. The sun beds and umbrellas are comfortable and allow both shade and a mild sun bathing. Loved the little trampolines in the water. Spent here two of our four days in the island. We'll be back next summer.
