I did the Advanced Open Water Diver course at Casa Daniel a week ago. It was possible to arrange everything in advance. The whole course and the dives with instructor Stefan were very good and professionally managed. I learned a lot and really felt that I was improving my diving skills. I became a little bit sick on the second... More

Great excursion activity here, one of the best plans in Dominican Republic. Great round trip to Saona Island.

We stoped by the shop on a lazy Saturday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. There was a young looking guy sitting in front of the shop wearing dark sunglasses. I greeted and started asking about scuba diving with them. He did not even get up from his chair nor did he offer me a seat. Seemed I had disturbed his nap.... More

We went for a 2 tank dive. Arriving to the shop we noticed all the staff was sitting outside at the tables, so no place for customers to sit. After asking about our equipment ( which we brought in the day before) we were told it should be inside. After we found it we asked if tanks and weights were... More

I didn't end up diving with Casa Daniel because the man I spoke with when I visited the shop was not very nice to me. He didn't seem to care if I chose them. So I went down the street to ScubaFun where I was treated like family the moment I walked through the door!

This is the first negative review I have ever made and I'm sorry to have to do so. My husband & I were diving with another center when the battery on his computer died. We asked around but no luck finding a replacement. When wandering around the village we came across this dive shop & enquired. We were told by... More

What a gem we found in Casa Daniel! Off the beaten path, in the small town of Bayahibe, this Dive Shop is a great operation; their location is convenient, the staff is both friendly and knowledgeable, the management professional and laid back, the boats have all the safety equipment you would expect on a US dive boat; oxygen, first aid,... We moved around in the area and finally have chosen Bayahibe/Dominicus area as base for our trips to surrounding places. Shona has been for sure the most amazing place we visited. Franconero and Casa Daniel have made our trip a fun one: the staff has been kind and very friendly and I recommend them! It doesn't matter which language do... More
