This was an incredible tour. Christine our tour guide was SUPERB!! She was informative and fun and helpful and just a wonderful person. It was all great but my favorite part would have to be swimming in the cave. An absolutely breathtaking awe-inspiring experience. Loved it!!

Great trip hiking through the jungle to a cave of fresh water for swimming. So refreshing. Able to enjoy interesting facts about the culture and history of those families being relocated! Thanks to Christine for being such an excellent tour guide!!!

We went to this park as part of the Saona Island tour. It was breathtaking and a place I can't wait to go back to!

Had a great time here stopping with Sharky's Dive Shop for a relaxing afternoon in the pool with an open bar on the boat. Doesn't get any better than this.

While this seems somewhat out of the norm based on other reviews, there are two parts to this review. I can't give it a 5 because of the part of the park I'm going to detail. For the 5 rating, read my other review of Saona. Beautiful. Gorgeous. The best part. For the Terrible (1), here's what I'm going to... More

My friends and I rode our bikes up to a entry point off of the beaten path just past Cadaque Caribe on Carr. A Bayahibe. The hike was great and fairly easy. There were absolutely no mosquitos. There were however many insects which resembled hornets but we were told they were harmless. We saw many butterflies and a few birds.... More

We didn't have time for a guided tour of the Park, so we paid our entrance fee and just walked along the deserted beach. You can walk a long way and we saw plenty of birds, shells, crabs, etc and had the beach entirely to ourselves.

I took many tours - including National Park of the East - with LA GONDOLA TOURS owned by ROMINA SCARPA. I am very satisfied with the way they treated us.The landscape is amazing. My stay in The Dominican Republic was worth only because of these two reasons.
