Beautiful waterfalls! The colour of the water is insane! Definitely worth a visit! Try out the canyoneering too!

This place can get really crowded as it is a very easy hike to get to. The water is a beautiful color, super cool and refreshing temperature for a swim. You can pay to ride a raft to the falls, or swim to it. There is a lot of current by the falls, so unless you are a strong swimmer,... More

By far the best canyoning I've ever had so far. Yay!!! must try. I took the canyoning with friends but if your alone you could find someone on your lodge (I suggest book your accommodation at Moalboal Backpackers Lodge). K

It was nice break from ocean. Beautiful waterfall!! Water was too cold for swimming for me but nice to put my feet.

Flooded with happy go lucky tourists at the main falls. The expectation vs. reality realisation was a hard one when compared to photos online. The falls are crowded with vendors and sub par restaurants too, and everyone trying to get your money. HOWEVER, Beyond the main falls are easy trails leading to the secondary falls. MUCH more beautiful and less... More

Paradise waterfall with nice blue clear water. Had to walk about 20mins time to reach the waterfall. But the raft to experience to the waterfall is pricey. There is a table charge 300peso and boatman charge 300peso too. Not worth it to pay for it.

My friend and I wanted to visit Kawasan Falls and where told an organised trip from nearby Moalboal would cost around 1500peso each. We decided to do it ourselves by taking the bus from Moalboal to Matutiao costing us 20peso each, we then paid 40 each to enter the falls and walked up to them ourselves, they're sign posted so... Kawasan Falls itself has become too touristy and commercial, where you can rent a raft to get closer to the falls for P300 (not sure). The place is easily accessible so a lot of families go there for picnic. What makes Kawasan falls awesome for me is the canyoneering adventure - trek, hike, jump and swim to get there. We... More

We’re deeply stunned by the turquoise water! Kawasan Falls is approximately 45ft deep (in the middle) and 10-20ft deep (at the edge). There’s a rock formation at the edge and that’s where we stayed and dipped in the ice cool water. Heaven! (Full travel guide on my blog: jansellbiskwit.com)
