My first visit was in 1984, and the museum has been upgraded over the years. My last previous visit was about six years ago, and I was pleasantly surprised to find the display space about DOUBLE the size in 2017. In previous years, your had...More

I last visited eight years ago and nothing has changed, thank God. This is a truly authentic gem, a tribute to Italian passion and the love of motorcycle racing. The Otto Cylindri ought to be in a shrine of its own.

Went for this museum as part of the Moto Guzzi annual open house. The museum has a very large collection of Moto Guzzi bikes since first model. The great thing I noticed that most of the bike on its original condition not restored

If you're a Moto Guzzi fan, then you'll already know about the factory museum in Mandello del Lario. It's not big, but it is jam-packed with original Moto Guzzi bikes going right back to 1921, including the famous V8, and worth stopping by. They don't...More

Thought the museum web site had an error in saying the museum was open only from 3pm to 4pm daily, but no, this place of significant motor cycle history is only open for 1 hour. The factory which dates from the 1920's now just assembles...More

If you love motorcycles like my husband, you need to go. It's not big, but it was great. They are only open between 3:00 and 4:00pm. They give you a guided tour. The guide does not speak English. But that didn't seem to be a...More

This visit was made barely four weeks after my Guzzi was written off in a accident, but it didn't stop me (as a now ex-Guzzi owner!) from visiting this wonderful, quirky place. Firstly, it's only open Mon - Fri from 3:00pm -4:00pm, secondly don't expect...More

Last here about 30 years ago! Museum has odd opening hours (1500 - 1600 weekdays, check website for exceptions). I had a spare day in my trip, so took the train from Milan - well worth it.

This is a real hidden gem. There is so much history in this museum, from the original 1919 model to today, with all the variations on the way and entry was free. If you like racing, it's there. If you like military and police vehicles,...More

Sorry for the very slow reply, I've been offline. You can walk from the ferry pier to the museum in about 15 minutes. I didn't see any taxis around while there. We were staying in Mandello and had use of a car.
