We came to Mandello del lario in particular to visit the Guzzi museum. Excellent, we were not disappointed as we have a T3 1978 but were a bit surprised to find it was not there. ......ours is for sale ....maybe they couldn't afford it!!!!!😁 🚲🚲🚲

The fact there is a Guzzi Museum is a good piece of news in itself. The museum shows the MG evolution from its early stages at the very heart of the marque, that is, Mandello del Lario. Free entrance and friendly admission by an Italian...More

My husband was happy with his visit. "As time stood still", old fashioned interior, but autentic. Lovely, free entry at a specific time in the afternoon.

If in Mandello definitly have a look at the Moto Guzzi museum if open when you are there. I hadnt realised the heritage and world records this brand had achieved.

If you love all things Moto Guzzi then this is the place for you. The very first prototype is on display there. Plus the Moto Guzzi V8 is there to see also. It is an 8 cylinder really fast and awesome sounding. If you make...More

This is one of few remaining no frills museums of a sizable player available today. There is some significant stuff here, and the context is really pretty cool, on the order of how the old Porsche Museum was decades ago, housed on a loading dock....More

Opening times are a bit short on frequency. There is a good collection of models but there are also quite a few missing that you might expect to see.

Sorry for the very slow reply, I've been offline. You can walk from the ferry pier to the museum in about 15 minutes. I didn't see any taxis around while there. We were staying in Mandello and had use of a car.
