After a recommendation by a native Como friend we made the trip across the lake to make the advertised opening time. I cannot believe this museum is FREE!!! Although it is straight motorcycles and a few other items forming the history of Moto Guzzi any...More

My husband was happy with his visit. "As time stood still", old fashioned interior, but autentic. Lovely, free entry at a specific time in the afternoon.

If in Mandello definitly have a look at the Moto Guzzi museum if open when you are there. I hadnt realised the heritage and world records this brand had achieved.

If you love all things Moto Guzzi then this is the place for you. The very first prototype is on display there. Plus the Moto Guzzi V8 is there to see also. It is an 8 cylinder really fast and awesome sounding. If you make...More

This is one of few remaining no frills museums of a sizable player available today. There is some significant stuff here, and the context is really pretty cool, on the order of how the old Porsche Museum was decades ago, housed on a loading dock....More

Opening times are a bit short on frequency. There is a good collection of models but there are also quite a few missing that you might expect to see.

OH's beam was from ear to ear when we visited this museum on a bit of a murky day in Lake Como. The bikes all seemed really old to me but apparently that made them even more of an attraction to be poured over and...More

Ok we all know it's only open for an hour so get there on time! I went two days in a row and this was a lot better. But don't mark it down for the limited opening. Am I crazy to say this is one...More

Some amazing bikes that are displayed quite well. All has to be accomplished in 60 minutes or less as the museum is only open between 15.00 and 16.00. The best part is the museum is free and there is ample parking across the road.

Sorry for the very slow reply, I've been offline. You can walk from the ferry pier to the museum in about 15 minutes. I didn't see any taxis around while there. We were staying in Mandello and had use of a car.
