Near the top of the hill this place is easy to miss but it is well worth searching for. The owner has a beautiful hidden garden full of amazing butterflies and a passion to reintroduce them back into the environment. Great experience!!!

The butterfly sanctuary is nice spot - good if you do an island tour. I imagined it would be bigger. The entrance is a bit pricy (100PHP/person) for what it is but we hoped the money will help to keep the place or perhaps extend...More

It is worth to spend 100 peso entrance fee. The place is run with passion and the owner is a great person to talk to. Very smiled and dedicated person. The garden with butterflies is not the biggest one, but thanks to that when you...More

For a 100/head entrance fee, I believe this sanctuary does not have a sufficient number of butterflies in it. I was expecting beautifully colored butterflies but got to see a number of them with almost the same color.

Out of the way small garden run by a very passionate gentleman who is working hard to protect the 10 native species of butterflies on the island. Worth a visit to support this endeavor and to enjoy a bit of nature up close. Good photo...More

It is small but is delicately and caringly preserved. Definitely worth stopping in and spend a bit of time here on your way to the park.

100peso entrance but worth it. Around 10 different species and not that big but the owner was saving to expand to a second garden. Great to combine with an island tour. We went to Cambugahay falls afterwards which was amazing!
