I really enjoyed the boat ride. Inside the canyon it is way cooler. We saw a couple of crocodiles, lots of birds and lots of plastic bottles. The garbage really makes it unpleasant. The limestine walls are just unbelievable.

So many beautiful creatures and a huge canyon all the way to the lake. Boats run a 2,5h ride through the canyon while you have the chance to see alligators, monkeys and birds!

Landed at tuxtla airport and went straight to the embarcadero. The tour is 200 pesos and it takes 2hours. Sunscreen, a hat and some mosquito repelent is a must. Tours are Spanish only. Awesome scenery.

Such an amazing experience coming here!!!! I wanted to take the tour over and over again. I recommend sitting all teh way in the front for the best view :) - The boat drivers were nice in general, but not very informative in my opinion.
