This is THE place to go to buy gorgeous Indonesian textiles. I'm going there next week and hope to buy some more goodies. I also bought brass tribal style earrings and a fantastic beaded purse from somewhere near Timor. There are great clothes and bikinis and gifts available and a helpful staff member helped me choose from the huge array of handmade soaps. I have been coming to Gili Air for years - since 1998 and in those days there was no shopping. Things have changed. The owner designs her own clothes and bikinis and has put together a really great collection of things made in Indonesia. In fact this shop has exclusives that you won't find anywhere else. The shop is located in the Ocean's Five complex which also has a cafe and a great coffee shop.…
