Stopped off to see this and was not disappointed. The tunnel takes you on a short hike to see beautiful shoreline with giant waves hitting the rock formations!

Our home is fronts on two side with undeveloped property owned by the Puerto Rico Environmental Trust. This old train tunnel from the sugar cane times leads of 307 to the property behind our home. That property also houses a good size cave that falsely reports consider it the burial spot of Cofresi the pirate.

Used to be a train track. BEAUTIFUL SCENERY. Sketchy tide pool. Great for surfing, please heed the advice of local surfers when entering the water at this coast. There is a pretty place to wade in a stream that meanders down to shore tho.

This place is very unique! In order to find the location you must travel through a long path that seems to be part of a private property. There is not much to do there except appreciate the design, location and history of the tunnel. If you are already visiting the Buye beach at Cabo Rojo, its worth stopping by.
