Enjoyed the visit to Macau

Casino was worth a visit, although we are not gamblers... We enjoyed the sights and exploring Macau itself.

After you get over the sheer size of the place, it just feels like a shopping centre. The highlights are the gondola ride down the "Venetian Canal" and the amazing ceilings. The rooms are a decent size, but its a long walk to get to anything. Not ideal with kids.

The venetian is so grand, I didn't stay here, my holiday was to Hong Kong, but came to Macau for the day. I loved walking around the shopping section, the ceiling is painted to look like the sky and every now and then a light mist of water would be sprayed on you like rain, and you felt even more... Typical casino, many people there, but not crowded. Coming just for fun, do not spend too much time there, or more money will lose.

Venetian is almost the exact copy of its LA counterpart. The false ceiling and the artificial river is just amazing. You can spend hours and hours here. The rooms are amazingly luxurious with all amenities for a business person like me. They even provide personal printer and scanner. Although small but i liked the casino. I am not a gambler... More

This place with it's fake sky and fake buildings and little grand canal and gondolas has left me speechless. The decorations, the paintings, the lamp posts are absolutely incredible and if you didn't know any better, you really could pretend you were in Venice! It's the same weird feeling I get on places like Disneyland.. Like you're in an alternate... More

The casino at the Venetian is more like a cheap place to visit. full of pimps and loan sharks. and never seen anyone winning anything in casino.....Advise to just visit casino for 10-15 mins. Kids are not allowed inside so sort them out first before going into the casino. The other part is just like a shopping mall with shops... More

Macau is getting less crowded, meaning that we probably can get better hotel deals nowadays. We stayed at the Venetian, something that we thought we could not afford at its heydays. We enjoyed the hotel, the casinos, and all the surronding places. We walked or took the coach from hotel to hotel, casinos to casinos, just to take in the... More

We Just wandered around the Venetian copy street with violinists, street performers and gondolas on the canals with 10s of thousands of other visitors and tourists.Expect but orderly huge crowds, glam glitz and expense but well worth a trip for another book at life.

Huge place to visit and move around, lots to see and do (and to spend). Other than the casino, lots of famous local food are located within the property. Internal deco/ID works is great for photoshoot. The casino is spacious and comfortable.
