Apart from the famous Lord Stow's cafe well-known for its Portuguese egg tarts, the village is not as touristy as compared to Taipa village and it was a good opportunity to see the residences of the Macanese in a rather authentic setting with a church and small temples in the area. If you are coming from the Macau peninsula area,... More

love the way they keep the magic appearance from the Portuguese motherland. I highly recommend to buy a couple the egg tarts and eat it looking across the river to mainland china before go for a walk on the little cute streets

Coloane village is well worth a visit to get a feel for old Macau. It's a sleepy place with a few interesting old buildings and a pleasant waterfront along which to stroll. You feel as if you are in a different world from the casino strips elsewhere in Macau. It is accessible by bus from most parts of Macau. Allow... More

Coloane Village is seeing more and more tourists these days and is becoming a more enjoyable place to spend time during trips to Macau. These days, Coloane reminds of Taipa Village a decade ago before the gambling and tourism boom. There remains a quieter feel that makes it one of the more pleasant places to spend time in Macau. In... More

Way too many people visit Macau without even having a taste of Coloane, where some of the old soul of the land is! As Macau changed unbelievably fast in the last decade, Coloane stood strong as the last remnant of a lost port city and it's quaint houses and streets stand as a testament of a time long lost. Did... Coloane is a nice place to drive, relax and get away from the city. We saw the fishing village, temples, beaches and plenty of eateries. Definitely have to stop for Lord Stow's egg tarts.

Went there early Sat morning from the center of old Macau, Hotel Lisboa. A quick public bus ride 50X gives a good tour of residential Taipa, a glimpse of the casino district Cotai, and then the villages of Coloane. Had the egg tarts, coffee and pork chop bun and walked around to see the temples and the Catholic Church. Place... More

My favorite place in Macau is Coloane. It does not like the other places in Macau, it is an old village but peaceful and make me feel relaxed. I went with friends and had a barbecue at the beach. Enjoying the barbecue food and the sea breeze, it is so nice. And the views of the Coloane is great ,... More

Beautiful place to visit. I visited here with my friends. It is easy to take bus to go there. Honestly, I came here for the famous Portuguese egg tart at Lord Stow’s bakery. The Portuguese egg tart was nice, freshly baked. I highly recommend to try the egg tart here. The egg tart cost 9 mop for one. I think... More
