I really enjoyed my time at the Visitor's Centre. It is very small, but good, and also hosts a variety of community activities like sewing, inuksuk making and a throat singing class. The place is run by people who really care about it too, which is awesome.

I found the Visitor Centre to be an excellent introduction to life in the north. Although the place is small, it is packed with interesting facts, artifacts and a very helpful staff. It gives a real look into what Arviat has to offer in the tourism industry. I enjoyed my time at the visitor centre and would gladly take my... More
