Frozen waterfall!

I love waterfalls and this is another gem. Nice flat train that is well marked, would love to come back during spawning season. Beautiful frozen waterfall!

Visit this wonderful place, a short creekside ten minute hike to falls, cool in the summer heat. Spawning kokanee in late august thru september.

When my family came from Hawaii for a short ski vacation, we went up for a walk to Hardy falls. I had not been there during the winter and found it awesome. The ice laces covered the falls and made it spectacular. The short walk was nice and warm as it is so protected by trees. Certainly not strenuous so... More

Lots of people visit Hardy Falls in the summer or fall. Don't forget about a winter visit. It is so interesting seeing how the water flows under the forming ice. Hardy Falls is so easy to access and the twisting path over several small bridges to the falls is gorgeous. The snow makes it look so pristine. Try to catch... More

This is a lovely short ramble across multiple bridges that cross cross Deep Creek. The path winds through the Forrest of deciduous and conifer trees and as you come around the last corner, the falls greets you with its thundering roar. It is tucked away just off the highway by Antlers Beach. Watch out for bears in the fall, they... More

An easy bush trail to a small and not overly impressive waterfall. In September the spawning Salmon are an awesome addition.

This is a lovely spot for a walk. The grade isn't too steep so great for all ages and abilities. The scenery is very enjoyable. The downside, depending on the time of year is the left hand turn back onto Hwy 97 if you are heading north. The highway can get very busy and traffic typically does not obey the... More

We enjoyed the walk through the forest to Hardy Falls, just outside of Peachland (there's only one sign, so watch carefully or you will miss it like we did and have to turn around). It's level and goes along the stream. The Kokanee salmon were running, and we had some nice views of them making their way upstream and jumping... More
