- Heli N14 contributionsGood for a quick dipNice little beach next to our Hotel! Sunbebs you can rent or you can stay ar sand. Beach is bit rocky but there is a pier you can use when you want to go swimming. Beach deepens very fast so it is NOR the best with small children. Nothing special but ok place for a refreshing dip on a hot day! Turkey & City of Bodrum just accross the beach.Visited May 2024Travelled with familyWritten 26 May 2024
- Thebates22Chester, United Kingdom2,079 contributionsDon’t be fooled by the “free sun beds” hook - like most things in life, they aren’t free.Relaxed sand & peddle beach with lots of options for sun beds. Don’t be fooled by the “free sun beds” hook, they are only free if you buy something from the restaurant / bar they are linked to & and if you want a water side bed there is a monsoons of €40 or 50. At these places you cannot bring your own food or drink, not even water, you must buy their food & drink. When on Lambi beach we opted to pay €8 per day (2 beds/1 umbrella/1 chair/1 table) off a lady called Elizabeth, with yellow & green sun bed mattresses & umbrellas. This is not attached to a restaurant / bar so you can bring all your own food, picnic, drink, beers etc and she offers free pushbike parking for patrons. The views out across the water to Turkey are great and you can also watch the boats coming and going. The main part of the beach is sandy and gets stony as you enter the water. The water depth drops off pretty quickly so younger children need constant supervision.Visited July 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 22 July 2024
- Rosie LBirstall, United Kingdom174 contributionsStunning sunriseThe beach is very pebbly up to the sealine and the sand was incredibly hot throughout the day so it is definitely worth paying for sunbeds or using one of the many beach bars with sunbeds available. The water was pleasant but had lots of seaweed floating around and drops off quite quickly. There were various water activities available including kayaking, pedalos and jetskis. Unfortunately, some of the boats in the area caused rogue waves which made swimming at those points quite dangerous for young swimmers. The highlight of this beach for me was the stunning views over to Turkey and down the coast to Kos Town. Watching the beautiful sunrise was well worth the early morning wake up.Visited July 2024Travelled with familyWritten 9 August 2024
- Na D8 contributionsAmazing beachesLambi is a beautiful area of Kos to visit, with plenty of sand and pebble beaches and crystal clear, turquoise water. Sunsets are happening very fast but are amazing to watch. The whole stretch along the beaches has sun loungers - some are private and belong to nearby hotels but there are plenty to hire, too with beach bars and even massage areas attached. There's also little changing huts and free showers scattered around.Visited August 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 25 August 2024

you decided if you want to pay for sun beds and an umbrella or just sunbath in the sun on your towel on the beach. It is really beautiful. Not far from the town and the port so a few nice waves come in :-) which we found awesome

Look out for Helen’s beach service with the yellow sun loungers. We found this spot on day 2 and we’re so pleased to have stumbled across her! She provides the absolute best service and is always happy. The neighbouring beach clubs play non-stop music (covers) and the loungers are so close together - avoid if you’re looking for something more authentic. This little spot made our trip, thanks so much Helen xx

We went here most days to have lunch and later chill on the beach. It's pebbly, so wear rubber shoes, you'll need them. Excellent eateries/bars by the sea. I'd recommend the middle stretch, i.e. not the busier town end or the quieter northern end. I found the beach just wide enough here with the better restaurants.

Peaceful place, with blu sea.
Little km of the town city, you can find this place.
You can put your beach sheet or buy with little money umbrellas and loungers.
Additionally beach you can drink a delicious drink at the beautiful and charming bar just being the beach.
I would raccomed it, worth a visit.

We're going to lambi kos in a couple of weeks. Recommendations for traditional Greek tapas locally
Written 25 August 2018
The only Greek tapas l now you have to come to KosTown to dolphin round about
turn left and about 100 yards up on right hand side.
Written 25 August 2018
There are a few dotted around as you walk down the road leading to the beach. They were closed when I was there but they should be open as is seasonal now. There is one place right by the beach that I would recommend it has brillant food and drinks. You will see it as you arrive it is literally on the seafront.
