Really nothing nothing much can be said about this place if you don't appreciate nature. This sanctuary is quite small. You will see turtles of different growth stages kept in captivity and a small turtle museum.

Great to see a local community conservation project, the buildings are basic and only 3 small pools to view a few turtles. But interesting to hear how the turtles are being protected.

The sanctuary is small and cozy but the exhibits and information have been kept time in memorial possibly since 2008. Desperately needing a refresh to keep people coming back

We went to the turtle sanctuary and saw various turtles of different ages, rehabilitating and waiting to be taken back to ocean. Fabulous opportunity

Traveling in April meant we missed the laying of eggs, hatching or releasing the baby turtles. But attending the Sanctuary was definitely memorable.

We have been to Segari which is a bigger centre, this is adequate for a simple show and tell and it is great effort to know that there is a centre to take care of the penyu's and keep the eggs from harm

The inside information display is pretty good but the outside area with the three concrete turtle ponds is so very sad. The water was cloudy and smelly - poor turtles - there are several turtles in each pond. One pond also has a small hatchery...More

Worth a visit as they keep quite a few variety of turtles there. A small museum on premise too that educates you on the turtles in the area.

Nothing much to see or do. Just a few turtles in a couple of ponds. Sad looking. Place not well maintained. Very run down. Just not worth visiting.

We went 5 months ago and then the turtle release was in the evening only. From 5 or 6 pm, on the beach front, ie the doors to the sanctuary were closed and you had to walk around the building to the beach where the backdoor... More
