Nice enough if you want a sun lounger and parasol for the beach - all of the other bagni’s we visited said they were fully booked. €30 for two for 3 hours which seemed a little pricey, the drinks were also expensive and they didn’t accept card. The beach is also very rocky, so for anyone planning to visit Castiglioncello bring swim shoes otherwise it’s very awkward and painful to get in the sea. They also placed us on two loungers infront of the cafe area so the relaxing atmosphere was somewhat ruined by two other English girls seated behind us who talked incessantly and so loudly; they were obviously under the impression that no one else in the vicinity could understand them - a word of advice if you ever see this, no one who’s relaxing on the beach wants to hear you talking about when you had to get a drain taken out at hospital, that you’re allergic to tuna and your ex boyfriend from Leicester who blocked you on Instagram (If I was him I’d block you 🙄)

At the end of the beach this quirky dining place with not many tables, a few outside and some indoors up against the open sided front which looks out over the beach and sea. Lunch is basically a choice of 3 of whatever is fresh on the day. We had some pasta and sea food tagliatelle with red mullet tasty and we had a bottle of white wine. It's all a bit complicated to get a table in all of these beach places as they don't seem to take reservations although most tables seem to be taken. We had 3 days on this beach and still couldn't work it out, see my other review of Banio Aurora. The other thing which is peculiar is the difficulty in just getting a drink around lunch hours if you might be waiting for table availability. Sorry no way as tables laid for dining. This beach will be teeming in summer and how can they possibly feed everyone as most beach franchises are rammed with beds on every inch of sand and deck on roofs etc. Why can't they remove some beds on decks to promote more dining and bar space? It might be a licence thing that is all we can think. Still nice food and ok service.
